ROCK EXOTICA AZ VORTEX MULTIPOD
Reflecting the experience of the many users during Ropes That Rescue Ltd. workshops, and CMC Rescue School classes, the new AZ Vortex Multipod is the next evolution of the Arizona Vortex. Named the "Multipod" because of its flexibility, the two-piece head can be rigged as a standard tripod, or in advanced applications, as an A-Frame, a sideways A-Frame, or a Gin Pole. The "easel" leg allows the tripod to be leaned to form an easel A-Frame, placing anchor points closer to the cliff or stucture edge. With adjustable leg lengths and a versatile third leg, the Multipod lets rescuers set up an artificial high directional in virtually any urban, industrial, or wilderness location. The lighter Head Set and the lighter, more compact legs make the Multipod easier to transport. On A-Frame and easel A-Frame applications, at least two pulleys can now be attached directly into the Head Set without carabiners, eliminating lost headspace and working clearance. This double pulley feature makes the Multipod ideal for use with highlines and tracking line offsets. The extra attachment points also work well for rope access where several lines may be needed over the edge. Three different types of Vortex feet are available to provide secure footing on varying terrain.

ROCK EXOTICA AZ VORTEX MULTIPOD FOOT SETS
The Multipod Foot Sets include three feet, three leg pins, and a carrying bag. The Raptor Foot is effective for anchoring the legs in soft surfaces. Use the Flat Foot to protect surfaces such as floors and roofs. The multi-purpose Round Foot can be used on a variety of surfaces.

Note: All feet, regardless of type, must be securely rigged to prevent movement. Use of the AZ Vortex Multipod without the feet is not recommended.

SKED-EVAC INDUSTRIAL TRIPOD
Manufactured by Skedco, makers of the SKED Stretcher, the SKED-EVAC tripod features aircraft-grade, gold-anodized aluminum legs and a cast-aluminum head. The three heavy-duty rigging anchors have exceptionally large holes for easy attachment and are located in the center. The legs adjust in 5-inch increments for a maximum height of 10 feet and a minimum length for transport of 7 feet. The cast ladder feet swivel for choice of a sure-grip rubber pad or a point for imbedding in a soft or slippery surface. Holes in the feet allow the tripod to be bolted into position. The safety chain prevents leg slippage and adjusts with a screw link. Leg extension width: 100 inches.
